Privacy policy
Effective 15 October 2026.
Isobar has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no server of its own.
Location
To show the air pressure, Isobar asks Apple Weather (WeatherKit) for the forecast at a location rounded to about one kilometre: your approximate area, or a city you chose. To show place names and search for cities, Apple's place services receive the same rounded location or the text you type. Apple's handling of these requests is described in Apple's privacy policy. Isobar sends your location nowhere else.
Diary, places and settings
They are stored on your devices: on your iPhone and in its backup, and on your Apple Watch, which passes the diary answers you log there to your paired iPhone. We never receive them. You can export the diary yourself as CSV or PDF; it goes only where you send it.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We do not see your payment details.
Deleting your data
